Disposal of Debris

Workers have begun removing debris from an area of Fukushima Prefecture for the first time since the March 11th 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The debris will be moved to a temporary storage site where is located about 15 kilometers away from Fukushima nuclear power plant.
Tokyo metropolitan governor and Osaka city mayor announces that they will cooperate with Fukushima prefecture to dispose of them... at bay area, but Tokyo and Osaka residents oppose to the plan.Besides such opposition, I am much concerned about the disposal costs including transporting and laborers’ wages. Local government and Tokyo Electric Power company have ordered big constructing companies to restore the nuclear power plants at high costs, but actually small and medium-sized contractors have been engaging in front-line tasks because there are lots of risks such as workers’ health risk, violation of laws relating the safety. It is reported that there are several individuals and companies between them including agents, nominal entities, brokers and even gangs. We, taxpayers want to use tax effectively and properly avoiding misappropriation. If front-line workers take health risks, their tasks must be awarding and they should get much compensation for physical damages.
